Biography
Sunny Money was literally born out of an accident. After spending six months bedridden and unable to walk (or dance 😿), the Montreal artist turned to music as his primary source of therapy. Grasping on to the light and all that is positive.
A child of garage punk, Sunny Money found his true self in the positive energy of Feel-Good Pop and Sunshine Rock. His soft and melancholic songs cover the whole spectrum of emotions. Sunny Money shares rich vocal melodies, sensual grooves and sharp rhythms. All presented with an unabashed fragility. Willingly floating away from his comfort zone, Sunny Money lies somewhere between The Beatles and Tyler, The Creator with a glimpse of Tame Impala (phew!).
With his sun-kissed cat mask and a rainbow-woven varsity jacket, Sunny Money is a sight to behold. A colorful imagery which can be found both on stage and in his music videos.
Sunny Money is a healthy dose of vitamin D to be consumed in full, from sunrise to sundown.
